Date: Saturday, August 28th
Time: 2p.m.–10p.m.
Place: ‘Big Burl’ baseball field
Tickets: $20 (kids under 12 are free with an adult)

When the Hyde Creek Music Festival was cancelled, Port McNeill stepped up, Gate House Theatre president Gord Oppen told the North Island Gazette. “Port McNeill and its councillors expressed a high degree of interest in hosting something similar.”

This year’s music festival features live acts from the area like SuperSauce, Emma Garriott, and Cody Woelfle.

They’ll also have a kid zone, a craft sale, and a celebrity dunk tank.

Bring your own seats and some money for the 50/50 draw.

The organizers know that COVID health restrictions might cancel the whole thing, so they’re selling tickets on EventBrite. That means that you can get a refund on your tickets if the fourth wave hits us.

Buy your tickets on the North Island Music Fest EventBrite page.

Want to help out? They’re still looking for volunteers, so write to info.northislandmusicfest@gmail.com.

Some of the proceeds from the event will go to the Gate House Theatre to keep it running until after COVID is over.
