What’s Summer Without A Block Party? Uptown Market Is Back and Better Than Ever

Two block party markets to brighten your summer

Come and see 30 unique vendors lining Third Avenue and Argyle Street

Summer is back in full swing, and so is the Uptown Market for the first time this year!

Previously a weekly event, organizers are now taking a different approach.

The last market of the year was always the most popular, so they’ve decided that this year, less is more.

They’re hosting two “Block Party” Markets this year with some extra budget to get the whole town out to enjoy themselves.

The first one is Wednesday, July 19, and a bunch of fun activities are lined up for everyone.

Get ready to explore over 30 unique vendors lining Third Avenue and Argyle Street. Local businesses will add to the venue options, staying open late and offering special sales!

As you wander and see all the incredible creations, the local band “Big Daddy” will play rocking tunes to boost the summer vibes and create a real Block Party feeling.

Steampunk Cafe will sponsor a cupcake walk, and there will be plenty of kids’ activities to keep the whole family entertained.

Feeling generous?

The Uptown Merchants Association will hold a lunch snack food drive to support the Salvation Army. Help out local families in need by bringing non-perishable snacks for the breakfast program.

Plus, treat yourself to some hot dogs and popcorn afterwards.

The Market will run from 5–8 PM, and if you can’t make it tomorrow, mark your calendars; another one will happen on August 23.

Vendors interested in the following market can drop off their details at Steampunk Café.

Come out, join the party, and support some local artisans for this unique Uptown Market experience!
