Did you ever take the train to Port Alberni?

The railway hasn’t run for a long time, but you can still imagine what it would have been like to ride the train past Cameron Lake.

The E&N Railway was built as part of a shady deal that VanIsle still lives with today. But for decades, the train was a part of daily life.

How many folks on the Island still remember taking train trips?
